Welcome to Monett Metals Inc.
Founded in 1975, Monett Metals Inc. (Monett Metals) has spent five decades building a reputation as a precision-focused specialty steel casting foundry. Operating from our 64,000 sq ft facility in Monett, Missouri, we produce custom sand castings and investment castings across a broad range of steel, stainless steel, and nickel-based alloys for demanding industrial applications across the United States.
We are not a high-volume, commodity foundry. Monett is built for short-run, low-volume programs where accuracy, alloy integrity, and quick turnaround matter most. Our craftsman-style process — one casting at a time — delivers the precision and surface finish that automated high-volume operations simply cannot match.
As a member of the Foundrion Group, Monett combines the independence and hands-on expertise of a specialty foundry with the stability and resources of a broader industrial network.
What We Do
Monett Metals is a specialty steel casting foundry serving industrial customers who need the right alloy, the right tolerances, and a reliable production partner — without minimum quantity hurdles. We produce sand castings and investment castings across a wide range of ferrous and nickel-based alloys, handling everything from tooling and pattern work to heat treating, machining, and quality testing under one roof.
Our no-bake furan process delivers tighter tolerances and superior surface finish compared to conventional green sand, making us the right choice for components that need to perform in corrosive, high-pressure, or high-temperature environments.

Monett Metals
Casting Capabilities
Monett’s facility is equipped to handle sand and investment casting programs from prototype through repeat production, with full in-house support services to deliver finished or semi-finished parts.
Sand
Casting
Castings from 1 to 1,500 lbs and 4 to 60 inches. Our no-bake furan molding process supports close tolerances, superior surface finish, and consistent dimensional control — suitable for short-run and specialized production programs across a wide alloy range.
Investment Casting
Castings from 0.1 to 35 lbs and 1 to 12 inches, with tolerances as close as ±.010″. Ideal for complex geometries, thin walls, and precise net-shape components where machining stock reduction matters.

Steel & Specialty
Alloys We Cast
Monett Metals produces castings in most ferrous and specialty alloy grades, including 300 and 400 series stainless steels, nickel-based alloys, cobalt-based alloys, carbon and high-alloy steels, duplex stainless steel, and manganese steel — supporting both long-term production programs and specialized casting requirements.
Stainless
Steel
300 & 400 series stainless steel castings for corrosion-resistant applications in chemical, food, and water processing environments.
Carbon & Low-Alloy Steel
Carbon and high-alloy steel grades for structural and pressure-containing components requiring high strength and toughness.
Nickel-Based
Alloys
Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, and other nickel-base alloy castings for extreme-temperature and corrosion-critical applications.
Cobalt-Based Alloys
Stellite and similar cobalt alloy castings for wear-resistant, high-temperature service in demanding industrial environments.
Duplex Stainless Steel
2205 and 2507 duplex stainless steel castings for applications requiring both corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength.
Manganese
Steel
Hadfield manganese steel castings for high-impact, abrasion-resistant applications.
Quality & Certifications
At Monett Metals, product testing consistently exceeds customer requirements. Our quality systems are built around process control, material traceability, and certification compliance — so that every casting that leaves our facility meets the specifications your application demands.
Our in-house testing capabilities include optical emission spectrometry for chemical analysis, dye penetrant and magnetic particle inspection (certified to ASNT), Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing, pneumatic valve body pressure testing, on-site gas analysis (nitrogen and oxygen), and daily sand testing for controlled molding conditions.
