A Specialty Foundry Built on Craftsmanship
Monett Metals Inc. was founded in 1975 as a privately owned specialty casting company in Monett, Missouri. From the beginning, Monett was built around a simple premise: produce small quantities of high-quality castings with the kind of attention and precision that larger, automated foundries can’t offer.
What started as a focused operation in southwest Missouri has grown into a 64,000 sq ft facility on a five-acre industrial site — still in Monett, still independently minded, and still making one casting at a time.
How We Work
Craftsman-Style Production for Industrial-Grade Results
Monett’s process is intentionally different from high-volume foundry operations. We use a no-bake furan sand molding process that produces tighter tolerances, smoother surface finishes, and better dimensional repeatability than conventional green sand — making it the right fit for components that must perform under pressure, corrosion, or temperature extremes.
We operate four coreless induction furnaces, capable of producing finished castings from one pound to 1,500 lbs. Certified materials, in-process melt analysis, and final certifications ensure consistent alloy quality in every pour.
Our staff holds certifications in welding to ASME Section IX and ASTM-A-488 standards. Combined, our team represents over 500 years of hands-on foundry knowledge.
Our Facility

Monett’s production facility spans 64,000 square feet on a five-acre site at 101 N. Industrial Drive, Monett, MO 65708. The facility houses our complete melting, molding, cleaning, heat treatment, machining, pattern shop, and quality assurance operations under a single roof — giving us direct control over every step of the casting process.
This integrated setup is what allows Monett to consistently deliver shorter lead times than industry norms.
